Welcome class of 2010-2011! I'm sure you are all very excited to get started. I am also anxious to get to know all of you! I have so many fun things planned for this year. The following includes important information about our classroom and what happens on a daily basis in kindergarten. Please keep this information in a safe place and refer back to it as needed. FOLDERS
Each child has been given a two-pocket folder with his/her name on it. This folder is sent home with the students every day and may include items such as homework, important notices, and finished work. This is our main source of communication! Please make it a habit to check your child’s folder each day and take out all papers. Please place all paperwork (notes, homework, money in an envelope, permission slips, etc) inside your child’s folder. Bringing the folder back to school each day is part of your child’s homework responsibilities. Ms. Kaufman will look through the folders first thing in the morning.

CLASS NEWSLETTER
A paper copy of the class newsletter will be sent home at the beginning of each week. This newsletter is also available online. The newsletter will keep you informed of things we're learning in the classroom, helpers of the week, student awards, and upcoming events.
